Why starting a successfull blog is so hard?
Hello, since I started to write this blog in English, I must confessed that I am a little bit disappointed. Although the first goal of this blog is to improve my English, I wish I could have some traffic coming from at least the beloved google search engine. Well, if I look at my stats, it is just had 206 visits and 305 pages views! But I guess that the 22 visits from Brazil are mines! So that shrinks the statistics to almost seven visits a day! At the time I am writing this blog post, I know perfectly well that at most, three readers will start reading it, and may be one will read it entirely.
So let me tell you why this blog is not as successful my French blogs
Do I do the necessary stuff to promote this blog?
Nope! But it seems that digg a blog article is like throwing a bottle in the sea. So I stopped digging my blog post. I do twitt ang googleplus my blog post but this not enough as I have scarcely no follower on twitter and G+
Is my content interesting ?
Some people say that we have to stand out of the crowd. Yes, but, how? Great contents! Yes! English is king, but almost every single idea is already blogged to death! So, the great post I make in French, are completely useless if I translate them in English. I need some fresh idea. I guess that I would really focus in the French internet sphere and make to nice blog articles in English. This would be a good idea
To many blogs is a killing machine
The truth is, that I need time to write and as I have to continue writing in French, I almost take no time to write in English. If I had only this blog to care off, I would surely write more often.
I know that most bloggers give up after six months of blogging. Shall I?
When I started blogging almost four years ago, I thought to quit many times. Now I can say that blogging is my full-time job and I make enough money to pay my bills. So I know that if I blog on a regular basis on this blog, it will surely have some success also in three years!
Competition is fierce in English
I recently started a photo blog in French. That was six months ago. I wrote 100 blogs posts only and I almost make 200 bucks a month with it. Almost no effort. This is completely different in English. The English blogosphere is huge and It is harder to be noticed even with google search engine. I already made 87 blogs posts on this blog and nothing happened!
My English is not that good?
I know that my English is not as good as the average English writing blogger. To my point of view, that is a looser excuse, just to quit! I am sure that with the time things will become better and better.
